A Wedding Celebration at Katz’s Delicatessen | Dian + Jonathan | Beekman Hotel
I love this couple! Dian and Jonathan met while playing Pokemon Go, when they found themselves both trying to catch(?) the same character living in City Hall Park. So for their wedding they decided to pay homage to this iconic downtown spot and their love of all things NYC. What better way to make that statement then over a pastrami sandwich at Katz’s Deli?! They’re both passionate foodies and at our first meeting we primarily just shared stories about our most memorable culinary adventures over rosé, oysters, & baby radishes, at Joesph Leonard in the West Village. She explained how she wanted a non traditional “wedding” that honored their passion for food and love of NYC, while also creating a few timeless portraits to share with family living abroad (to make it “official”). So they invited just their closest bff’s to the Beekman Hotel for portraits downtown and witness their Katz’s deli wedding on a perfectly uncanny afternoon.
